Profile Cutting

Lightning Aerospace offer a bespoke profile cutting service covering all stages of production, from computer aided design and development to prototyping and eventual full production. All of our cutting services are also available for sub-contractor use.

Water Jet

Water Jet Cutting, capable of cutting armour plate (both aluminium and steel), stainless steel, steel, aluminium, ceramics, leather, plastic, rubber, wood, cork and polystyrene, amongst others. Whether it’s a single prototype or a large-scale batch, our water jet cutting services can also be offered with an optional 24 hour rapid turn abound facility.

Laser

Lightning Aerospace uses a 4KW Bystronic Laser machine. This can be used to cut, scribe or bore durable non-flammable materials such as iron, aluminium and carbon-reinforced steel. We also offer a 24 hour rapid turn around facility for time-critical projects
